Why did mother of Musa. a leave her child in a basket and let it flow in the water?
Because Allah had revealed her to do so. She was a mother and she was a believer. She cared for her child just like any other mother. She was scared to put her child in a flowing river. She did not know whether the basket would flow or drown into the river.
But sometimes we need to crush our feelings before the revelation of Allah.
No one loves you, no one is more mindful of protecting you, no one is looking out for you more than Allah.

When mother of Musa.a left her child in the basket and let it flow in the water, as was revealed by Allah, why did she then send her daughter to go after the basket? Didnt she have Tawakkul on Allah?
Because Tawakkul on Allah, relying on Allah doesnt mean that you do nothing.Tawakkul or Relying on Allah means you do whatever little or big you can do, and then leave things upto Allah.
Relying on Allah means that Allah give us people or blessings in our life to support us to take whatever steps we can.

Why did the Prophet of Sabr, Yaqub.a cried at the loss of his child, didnt he have sabar?
Because it is okay to cry, it is okay to cry so much that you are about to lose your eye sight. Sometimes there is a grief like that and it is okay. The Propher.a had a right to cry like that. He had a right to be sad like that.
Sabar does not mean you dont cry. You can still cry,. You can still feel sadness, fear, grief, anger, anxiety but none of them take you away from Allah. That is Sabar.
Sabar does not mean to control emotions. It means to have those feelings and still obey Allah.

(The story of Adam.a) Iblees disobeyed Allah by not doing sajdah. Adam.a also disobeyed Allah by eating from the tree in Jannah. Why was Adam.a then forgiven and not Iblees?
Because of their immediate next responses to their sins.
Iblees refused to do sajdah and the next thing he did was he became arrogant and proud of his creation. Whereas Adam.a immediately humbled himself in front of his creator, acknowledged his sin and asked for forgiveness.
All of us may fall into sins, once, twice or sometimes over and over again. Allah knows that. Allah knows you are not perfect. The real problem is what you do after ...

Beutiful story about how Musa.a got married. : A modest and clever shepherd girl proposing her intelligent dad to get her married to the decent honest man she likes.
The backend story: Musa.a sees two women struggling with their sheeps/goats who are dragging them towards water and they are pulling them back. So, he goes and asks them, "What's your deal?". They reply, "We are not going to give our animals anything to drink until the rest of the men are done(moved away from the water area). Our Dad is too old to do this kind of work."
Musa.a helps these ladies, gives water to the animals and goes back. Musa.a is later called on to meet their dad and he narrates his whole story, of how he was put in the river, how he ended up in Pharoah's palace, and how he mistakenly punched and killed a man...
The daughter hears it all from behind the curtain and tells her dad, "Hire him" and the father marries his daughter to Musa.a.
The shepherd girl is smart because she works outside in the real world in a harsh reality. She deals with nasty men all the time, so she knows when she sees a decent man. She is shy enough to limit her conversation to Musa.a. She is modest enough to go to her Dad and say, "Hire him"
Musa.a. offers them help by having the most decent conversation: Whats your deal?
He helps them out, goes away and expects nothing back.
The father was clever enough to understand the code when she said, "Hire him" but what she really meant, was "Dad, let me marry him, Allow him to be in this family"
Because if he hires him, he is going to live with him for 8-10 years, and there are two young women in the house. The only way that this could work is that it becomes a family matter. And the easy way to do that is for him to get married.
This is the only marriage mentioned in the Quran because Allah's intend is for humanity for men and women to come togethor in a noble, respectful, honorable relationship. For families to come togethor. Its okay for her to like him and to even suggest him to her dad. Allah describing in the beautiful words how men and women should come togethor and approach before marriage and for marriage.

Surah Al Hajj (22:78)
هُوَ اجْتَبَاكُمْ : "Allah has chosen you for a purpose"
مِلَّةَ أَبِيكُمْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ : "Religion of your father Ibrahim"
هُوَ سَمَّاكُمُ الْمُسْلِمِينَ : "He named you muslims, those who submit"
(the phrases that touched my heart)
Allah has chosen you for a purpose, chosen you for a mission based on something Allah has seen in you. Allah gave you لَا إِلَٰهَ إِلَّا ٱللَّٰهُ . That's not a cheap gift to give to somebody. He would not have brought you to the blessings of Islam, if he would not have seen something in you.
Planet Earth will have all sorts of problems which might pull you away from your faith. But alongside, have this vision...
Allah has chosen you for a higher purpose. Just like your father, Ibrahim.a, who went through trials and submitted himself to Allah, held on to the rope of Allah. He had a bigger purpose.
No matter what trials you are going through, its just preparing you for a bigger picture.
